If you are like me and you've had your Twitter account since you were 13, it may be time for a clean up for your timeline. I found a way to make it easy, so you don't have to spend the whole day scrolling through your timeline.
Step one: Follow @tweetcloudbot.
Step two: Tweet: #cloudme @tweetcloudbot
In a minute you'll get something like this. This will give you an idea of what kind of keywords you want to remove from your timeline.
Step three: Now sign up for tweeteraser.com. Choose the free option and sign in to Twitter.
Step four: Once you've authorized the website, you'll be redirected to the dashboard. It may ask you to add your email, you can just click cancel.
Step five: Now look in the sidebar for the Tweets page and click on it. Once the page loads, you'll see a search term box on the upper right hand side.
Step six: Search for keywords from your tweet cloud. I searched for Jurassic Park, because I didn't know why that was showing up as a frequently used keyword. Turns out I had a ton of auto posted tweets from a mobile game. So I hit select all and delete.
I also found and delete the tweets auto posted from YouTube, times where I spammed people with giveaway links, auto posts from a website that I no longer use, and auto posted thanks for the follow tweets.
Now my tweet cloud looks like this. Much better! :)
I hope you find this tutorial helpful!
