Update on The Rise Of the Shadow Lord
I am so excited to be working on the final revision of the Rise Of The Shadow Lord. With 52 chapters outlined and 29 chapters completed, I am happy to say I have reached the 55% completed mark. I recently had the chance to make a big dent and got five chapters completed on Monday. Here is an excerpt from one of the chapters I edited which I am particularly fond of:
“High Priest Rafael accompanied by his understudy Apollo and High Priestess Idara.” The doorman announced the arrival of the Followers of the Creator. This caused all activity in the room come to a standstill. In the silence, the Followers footsteps made a resounding clink as their crystalline feet tapped against the marble floor.
This science fantasy novel has been a long time coming, but it has grown into something that I am excited to share with everyone in the near future.

Tales From Crigmis: Rise Of The Shadow Lord, the first novel in the series by Amelia Nichole, follows the events leading up to the fall of the Golden Era, birth of a new empire and, of course, the rise of the Shadow Lord. Crigmis is an inhabitable planet in the Triangulum Galaxy some 3 million light-years away from the Milky Way.
On this website you will have access to:
- Journal entries from a few characters in the series. Their journal entries will provide insight into their day to day lives as they progress through the series with information you won't find in the novel.
- Short stories about the past, the present and the future of the planet of Crigmis. These are stories set on the same planet, but often about completely different characters.
- Character bios will be available as characters are introduced in the series. Read more
