My WIP novel Rise of The Shadow Lord deals with the effects of war and prejudice on a society and the individual. Each of the major character deal with a different facet, with varying degrees of morality.

This poem helped me to define my theme:

What makes a man good,
What makes a man bad?
What makes a man well,
What makes a man mad?

What indeed? Love, war, hate, peace, faith? These are a questions I don't imagine I can answer fully, but I do address a few of the usual suspects in my novel.

The read level makes it suitable for beginning chapter book readers and the plot makes it suitable for all ages. It makes you laugh and is a real page turner. My youngest sister read it and loved it just as much as I did! Read more
