As she descended the staircase, she gave the man in the fedora a flirtatious glance. The man tipped his hat in her direction with a sly grin. He downed the last sip of his Bronx and donned his leather gloves.
She asked the host to dance with nothing more than a bat of her lashes and a doe-eyed look.
The man in the fedora ransacked the master bedroom with all of the caution of a master thief.
He could imagine the headlines when the press caught wind of the biggest caper of the century; 'With nothing more than a glance shared between strangers, the valuables and the suspects vanished.'
